First step to finding out your Sustainable Development Goal alignment
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted in 2015, and are being addressed by countries all around the world. They are a call to action to address and work towards reducing social, economical and environmental issues experienced by communities all across the globe. A lot of the issues highlighted by the 17 SDGs are experienced here in Canada on a national, provincial, and regional scale.
By taking the first steps towards aligning these SDGs to your organization, you are creating the opportunities for future collaborations, partnerships, and funding opportunities. With this alignment, you are bringing public awareness towards the true missions and values of your organization within a context that is universally understood and accepted.
Below you will find three different surveys and quizzes that you can take in order to find your Sustainable Development Goal alignments. Each option takes into consideration the time constraint you might be facing, and so there are options that are shorter, however, these will not go as in depth when determining your alignment. Try out the medium length version if you have more time, and the longer version if you would like a true deep dive and do not require an answer immediately.
Survey 1: Short and Sweet
This survey is just as the name suggests: short and to the point. There are 3 questions that are a little more vague that will present your results instantly. Take this quiz if you are short on time, or only require a low level assessment of your initiative, program, or mission.
Survey 2: Medium Length
The medium length survey is a little longer than the short survey. This option is perfect if you want to dive a little deeper into the goals and you have a little more time on your hands. Just like the previous option, you will get your results instantly. Please note: this option is still under development, and is not currently available.
Survey 3: Longer With More Accuracy
This last option is a little lengthy and will include opportunities to answer some short answer questions. The purpose of this option is to give a higher level vision of how the SDGs align with your initiative, program, or mission. Since this option requires some short answer questions, you will not receive your results immediately. Please note: this option is still under development, and is not currently available.
